Used as industrial firesleeve and also as marine firesleeve, aviation firesleeve and hydraulic firesleeve on a wide variety of machinery, engines and hydraulic equipment. Firesleeve is also known as firejacket or fire-sleeve. The Industrial firesleeve is fabricated from a knitted base material sleeve while the aviation grade firesleeve utilizes a braided base material sleeve.
Our OEM firesleeve features only premium quality fiberglass sleeve and the very purest silicone rubber available, which results in a firesleeve that is both non-flammable and is self-extinguishing.
Firesleeve is often used to cover PVC pipes in home construction to meet various inspector's and NFPA fire-resistant requirements.
We also make sleeves from other materials, such as our aluminum coated sleeve which reflects radiant heat and protects cables and hoses in steel mills.
